The Bar and Table Service interactive training cd rom disk covers the most important areas of bar skills and procedures necessary to work behind the bar with a high degree of competence, including most of NVQ Level 2. Customer service plays a major part in the training with excellent examples on video clips. Interactive games enhance the subjects of 'stocking shelves and refrigerators', 'Glass service', 'preparation of the bar area' and 'hygiene'. Additional subjects include the preparation of the bar area, maintaining the presentation of the bar area, table service, optics, weights & measures and awareness of drugs.

Completion of the multi choice questions will allow the printing of a named certificate.

It is highly interactive, with most aspects of media used to enhance the presentation. Sections including 'serving drinks' allow the student or employee to observe the correct procedures for serving drinks and which glasses to use. It is ideal to use as an induction tool for any licensed establishment. It is also ideal as a training presentation aid or for use as evidence of understanding of the subject for a student. The student or employee can print out a certificate as proof of having completed the questions correctly.
